Go Outside 'GO' Grants provide North Carolina's students opportunities for outdoor experiences and to learn by doing. North Carolina educators are encouraged to apply for grant funding for outdoor field trips, visiting programs, and educational structures.

Important Information About 2024-2025 Funding

Please be advised that we cannot award GO Grants until funding is received from the state for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. We will continue to accept applications but cannot guarantee that our funding will be received before your trip date. As a precaution, we advise applicants to apply for funding for field trips scheduled no sooner than October. Alternatively, we may reach out to you to adjust your trip date.
