Get Started!

Planning to earn an Archery Achievement Patch? Fantastic!

You’ll need to submit a few photos of you using either a longbow, recurve or compound bow, and then complete the following steps. Be sure to keep your camera handy!

Step 1

If you have not already, you’ll need to complete a hunter education course to learn about safety and responsibility. The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission’s Hunter Education Program provides free courses throughout the year statewide. Learn more here.

Make sure to keep a copy of your certificate!

Step 2

Complete the Archery Achievement Patch Workbook, including the quiz. 

 

Step 3

Watch the “Archery Fundamentals and Safety” video below.

Finish!

Once you have completed steps 1-3, send the following to info@ncoutdoorheritage.org

  • Photos of you using either a longbow, recurve or compound bow.
  • A photo or screenshot of your Hunter Education Certification 
  • Pages 7-8 from the Archery Achievement Patch Workbook

Congratulations! Patches will be mailed out as submissions are received.
