Planning to earn a Fishing Achievement Patch? Fantastic!

You’ll need to submit 3 photos of 3 different fish and then complete the following steps, so be sure to keep your camera handy!

Step 1

Complete the International Game Fish Association’s free Intro to Fishing Course. You can find the course here.

Make sure to download and keep a copy of your completion certificate for later!

Step 2

Complete the Fishing Achievement Patch Workbook, including the quiz. 

Step 3

Watch the “How to Fish” video below.

Finish!

Once you have completed steps 1-3, send the following to info@ncoutdoorheritage.org

  • Photos of 3 different fish you’ve caught
  • Your Intro to Fishing certificate from the International Game Fish Association
  • Pages 12-13 from the Fishing Achievement Patch Workbook

Congratulations! Patches will be mailed out as submissions are received.
